Invisible Man

The Invisible Man is a story about a African-American man who learns to live without interfering with society. The story begins with the man receiving an invitation to give a speech after being heard giving his graduation speech. The invitation was to give a speech at a ceremony, but during the ceremony he was instead forced to fight in a boxing match. After placing 2nd in the boxing tournament he gives a speech and receives a scholarship to a college. While at college he becomes a cab driver and is put in charge of  driving a school sponsor around. While driving the Mr Norton (the sponsor) around the sponsor faints after the protagonist takes him to Mr. Truebloods House. The protagonist is kicked out of the college because of the situation that he put Mr. Norton. Dr. Bledsoe The president of the college tells the narrator that he will receive another chance in college after working in the city for a year. While trying to find a job that Dr. Bledsoe recommend he is informed by one of the recommends son that Dr. Bledsoe has no intentions in allowing him to return and has sent him to the city in order to receive a job. After receiving a job at a paint factory he fights with one of the workers and a gas taker explodes because it was left unintended Leaving the Narrator unconscious. While at the hospital the doctor put the narrator under electrical experiments. After leaving the hospital he collapse and is helped by a women who helps him recover. After recovering He witnesses a couple being evicted and rallies a group to protest the eviction while giving a speech. After giving the speech he joins a group that helps fight for better rights, and is thought to improve his speech.After becoming a big figure in the brotherhood because of his speeches and talents his is told in a letter to remember his place as a black man in the brotherhood. After the narrator is sent to Harlem where he finds his friend Clifton has left the brotherhood. The narrator finds Clifton selling dolls in the street where he is killed by police for illegally selling the dolls. The narrator holds a funeral which angers Jack, a member of the brotherhood, which results in the narrator being sent back to learn new strategies for the brotherhood. After the narrator leaves and swears to get revenge on jack and the brotherhood which results in him getting jumped by members of the group. After leaving he tries to seduce a women to try to get information of the brotherhood. While in the room with the women he gets a phone call which tells him to return to Harlem. When he returns he finds a riot where he sets fire to a tenement and encounters Ras the leader of the brotherhood who tries to lynch the narrator. After fleeing from Ras he runs into two policemen who accuse him of stealing during the riot. He  flees again and falls down the manhole ending the story.

School Uniforms School uniforms are when pressed on students have a negative effect on there everyday life.  Firstly school uniforms don't let students freely express their choice in clothing. Many students have excitement when choosing their outfit for school. This becomes extremely evident on the first day of school or picture day where what you wear will be remembered in the yearbook. Uniforms restrict students from showcasing the creativity such as when trying to show school pride. In addition uniforms might cost to much for some students. Some benefits that school uniforms would have is creating a more equal environment. Uniforms wouldn't allow student to be bullied for their choose of clothing or not being able to afford finer clothing.
